Kal Penn is not dead. It's his character in the tv series "House" that was killed. Kal Penn played the role of Dr. Lawrence Kutner in the popular tv series "House". In House season 5 Episode 20, Kutner was killed because he committed suicide. It left fans wondering why his character was removed from "House". Why is Kal Penn leaving "House".
